Modern interiors demand fireplaces that feel intentional, not ornamental. When a fireplace lacks clean lines, flexible controls, or design cohesion, it can quickly feel out of place in a contemporary home.
The Majestic Meridian Modern Direct Vent Gas Fireplace is designed to integrate seamlessly into modern spaces with refined materials, linear proportions, and intuitive control options. Its glass media presentation and optional driftwood logs or stone sets create a sleek visual foundation, while smart compatibility allows control through mobile apps, voice assistants, remotes, or wall switches. With up to 36,000 BTUs available depending on size, it balances visual impact with dependable heat performance.
This model is ideal for homeowners who want a fireplace that complements modern architecture while offering advanced control, efficient venting, and flexible interior styling.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mount a TV above this fireplace without a mantel?
Yes, in passive heat mode (no fan running), Majestic allows a TV as close as 12" above the fireplace without a mantel. Check the manual for the exact clearance rules if you're running the fan regularly.
Can this heat a room other than where it's installed?
Yes, with the optional heat management kit you can draw heat from the fireplace to another room up to 20 feet away, useful if there's a cold spot elsewhere in the house.
Is the front trim kit included, or do I need to buy it separately?
It's a required accessory sold separately, not included with the base fireplace. The brick extension kit and heat management components are optional add-ons beyond that.
What media options come with the Meridian Modern's glass ember bed?
It ships with ceramic glass and glass liner panels standard. Driftwood logs or stone media are available as options if you want a different look than the glass presentation.
Will this still work if the power goes out?
Yes, it includes battery backup, so ignition and basic operation continue during a power outage.
What's the difference in heat output between the 36" and 42" Meridian Modern?
The 36" runs 17,000-34,000 BTU and the 42" runs 18,000-36,000 BTU, so the wider model gives you both a bigger viewing area and slightly more heat.
