Powered by Dimplex’s Multi-Fire XD® Flame Effect, the IgniteXL delivers vivid, lifelike flames with customizable color themes and prism mode for a dynamic visual experience. Its ultra-slim profile allows it to be fully recessed into 2 × 6 walls or partially recessed into 2 × 4 walls with an optional trim kit. What is Multi-Fire?

Multi-Fire is Dimplex's proprietary flame technology, built to deliver a realistic fire experience without the hassle of a traditional fireplace. Layered color, depth, and motion work together with a driftwood and crystal media bed to produce reflections and movement that shift with each setting.

Comfort$aver heating covers spaces up to 1,000 sq. ft. efficiently, and the flame runs independently of heat so you get ambiance year-round, on demand.

How do you control the Ignite XL?

Through hidden touch controls on the unit or the included multifunction remote. Both let you adjust flame color, brightness, speed, temperature, and timers. The Ignite XL does not support app connectivity.

What flame themes are available on the Ignite XL?

Eight color themes including White, Red, Blue, and Prism cycling mode. You can freeze on a custom color or adjust flame speed to dial in the look you want.

Does the Ignite XL require much maintenance?

No. Keep the glass clean and vents clear of dust. LEDs are long-life and the unit needs no venting or fuel, so there is nothing to service on an ongoing basis.

Does the Ignite XL produce heat?

Yes. The built-in Comfort$aver ceramic heater adjusts fan speed and wattage automatically to hold your target temperature. It covers up to 1,000 sq. ft. and the flame runs independently of heat, so you can use it year-round without running the heater.

Can I mount a TV above the unit?

Yes. As an electric unit it produces significantly less heat than gas or wood, making it safer for electronics. Keep a minimum of 10 to 12 inches of clearance between the top of the unit and the bottom of your TV.
