Frequently Asked Questions
What makes this different from the Extra Slim or Extra Tall Remii models?
The DEEP series has a deeper firebox at 11 7/8", compared to the Extra Slim's 4" depth, which allows for a fuller, more dimensional flame and media presentation rather than prioritizing a thin profile.
Can this go in a bathroom or covered outdoor space?
Yes, it's approved for indoor installations, including bathrooms, and covered outdoor areas.
What rough opening do I need to frame?
Width matches your chosen size (45", 55", or 65") with a 25" height across all three. The unit itself runs 23 5/8" H x 11 7/8" D, so leave clearance beyond the exact unit dimensions.
Can I install this without a surround for a true clean-face look?
Yes, you can finish materials directly to the glass for a clean-face install, or use the included black steel surround to frame the opening if you'd rather have a defined edge.
Can I install this safely under a TV?
Yes, the front-vented heat design directs warmth outward rather than upward, which is what makes it a safer fit for under-TV installations than top-vented models.
What media options are available beyond what's included?
It ships with Canyon Brown and Ocean Blue fire glass standard. Optional designer media kits with logs, stones, pebbles, black glass, and vermiculite are available separately if you want a different look.
