The Allwood Fireplace Wall System is a complete, pre-built wall and mantel unit designed to house the Modern Flames Spectrum Slimline 60" Electric Fireplace (SPS-60B) — which is required for operation and sold separately. Instead of framing out a wall from scratch, this system mounts directly to a permanent wall with the fireplace opening, mantel, and side shelving built in, giving you a finished fireplace-and-media wall without construction. Available in three finishes: Weathered Walnut, Coastal Sand, and Driftwood Gray.

Is the Modern Flames Spectrum Slimline 60" fireplace included with this wall system?

No. This listing is the wall system and mantel only — the Spectrum Slimline 60" Electric Fireplace (SPS-60B) is required to complete the installation and is sold separately.

How much wall space does the complete system need?

The full three-section system (main wall plus both side shelf walls) needs a 10 ft. wide by 8 ft. high area. If you only install the main wall section, it fits a 6 ft. wide by 8 ft. high space; adding one side shelf brings that to 8 ft. wide.

Can I mount a TV above the fireplace on this wall system?

The top front facia doesn't come with a pre-cut TV opening, so you'd need to cut one yourself if you're mounting a TV. Plan your TV wiring before installing the facia, since it's much easier to route cable through an open frame than to retrofit it afterward.

What kind of wall does this mount to, and what electrical prep do I need?

It's designed to mount to a standard wood-stud or drywall wall, with the top and bottom frame assemblies each anchored to at least two studs. You'll need a dedicated electrical outlet located within the centered mounting area for the fireplace — an outlet wall adapter isn't included, so plan your outlet placement before installation.

What's the warranty on the wall system itself?

Modern Flames covers manufacturing defects on this wall system for 24 months from purchase, with labor covered for the first 12 months. That's separate from the Spectrum Slimline fireplace's own warranty.

Can I install just the main wall section, or do I need both side shelves?

Either works. The main wall section can be installed on its own, with one side shelf, or with both — the hardware and instructions support all three configurations, so you can size the install to your wall.
